Hippo smart home program

Recently, it was revealed that Hippo and SimpliSafe would be working together, expanding the options available to homeowners for home protection. The partnership would broaden the scope of services offered by Hippo's smart home program by incorporating professionally monitored devices from SimpliSafe, which now offers security for more than 3 million users.

A professionally monitored home security system from SimpliSafe will now be entirely free with their homeowners’ policy for new Hippo customers in certain states who enroll in its smart home program. A SimpliCam HD camera, two water sensors, a smoke detector, a window or door entry sensor, a keypad, and a base station are all components of the seven-piece SimpliSafe home security system that is “tailored” for Hippo clients.

A “significant discount” on their annual home insurance cost and two complimentary months of 24/7 interactive monitoring are also included as part of the offer for qualified consumers. Customers in the program will pay for expert monitoring after the first two months, which starts at $14.99 per month.
